Returning Merchandise

When you place an order with smggsm, you can be sure that your purchase will be a good one. We want to make sure you are 100% totally satisfied with your purchase.

If you ever have a problem with your purchase due to manufacturing defects or worksmanship and it is within the first 7 days from your purchase date, smggsm will be glad to provide you with a replacement product.

In order for us to provide you with a replacement product, we need to make sure the item is defective which will require you to follow the steps below to start the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process.

1. You will need to contact us by clicking on "Contact" from the top menu on this page and filling out the contact form. Be sure to choose "Request an RMA form" from the "How can we help you" drop down box. Be sure to describe in full detail what problems you are experiencing so we can serve you better.

2. We will respond within 24-48hrs via email with a RMA form for you to fill out. Please fill out this form and return it with your purchased defective merchandise. You must make sure everything that was originally shipped to you is included in your return shipment back to us. This includes all Manuals, Chargers, Adapters, Memory Cards, Phones, USB Cables, CD's, Cases, Screen Protectors, Headsets, Batteries, Handsfree Headsets, Stylus', Cables. Failure to ship everything that was originally shipped to you will result in a delay to your RMA process or a 15% missing parts fee if you are unable to ship these missing items to us.

3. Once we receive your returned merchandise, we will examine the item in question and if we deem the product is defective due to a manufacturers defect in worksmanship, we will do one of the following:

a) Send a replacement product to you.

b) Refund you the purchase price.

c) Send you a replacement product of equal value and features if original item is no longer in stock.

We do not refund shipping charges incurred and you the customer will be responsible for said shipping charges when returning the unit. We however will pay for returning the replacement unit to you. There is no guarantee's when you will receive your replacement unit, but expect it to take approx 7-10 business days.

Returning a product after 7 days

We urge all customers to purchase extended warranties on their items which will cover you for parts and labour starting 30 days from the original purchase date.

If you did not purchase a warranty and you are having issues with your item, you can contact us and we will offer to repair the product or suggest alternative options in having your problems addressed.

All repairs done will require payment prior to them being carried out.

Returning perfectly working products

If you are returning a perfectly operational product in original brand new condition with ALL accessories included because you did not like the product, or it was the wrong color, we will need you to contact us prior to returning the item. You will be required to pay a 35% restocking fee, due to us losing money on this item and having to re-sell the item as "open box" at a considerable discount.
